Frankie Edwards, Master Barber

Frankie "Love" Edwards is an FTM (Female to Male) non-binary, transman as well as being an Atlanta-based queer activist. Frankie is the founder and owner at Head Canvas Barbershop where he specializes in providing inclusive gender-affirming haircuts for all humans.

He has been doing hair behind the chair for nearly 11 years.

Frankie was born and raised in the south, commanding a presence as a young queer activist in the Atlanta. Becoming a hairstylist allowed Frankie to channel his artistic energy into the creation of Head Canvas Barbershop which serves as a safe space for people of all genders, sexualities and hair types.

Between modeling for Goorin Bros Hats, styling hair backstage at New York Fashion Week and having his face on billboards for the Netflix reboot of "Tales of the City", Frankie has been given some incredible opportunities to be visible as a transgender activist. Frankie and his wife, Rachel, married in 2019 love their dog Prince and hope to add to their family in the future!
